The unfiltered sound of a composite video signal and how it reacts to the image
Seizure Warning.
No audio effects added. All sound is created by looping the camera's video output into the sound input. This allows us to hear what a digital video signal sounds like and how it changes based on brightness, shape, and color. Recorded with a VHS camera pointed at a screen connected to Modul8 software. Visuals are rendered in real time and manipulated with an ear towards rhythms and musicality.
